What is BWRT®?

BWRT® stands for BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by Terence Watts, MCGI, a respected therapist in the UK. BWRT® is designed to help you gain control over negative thoughts and emotions, especially those that stem from painful past experiences.

What does BWRT® do?

BWRT® works by interrupting ingrained negative thought patterns at their source, creating new neural pathways that allow you to respond differently to emotional triggers. This means that memories or feelings associated with past relationships no longer have the power to bring up painful reactions or hold you back. BWRT® can help you break free from destructive patterns and regain confidence in yourself and your future.

How does BWRT® work?

BWRT® works with the part of the brain that responds automatically, often called the subconscious. It’s the part of your mind that reacts instinctively, like when your hand reaches out to catch something you’ve dropped, without you even thinking about it. By working with this automatic part of the brain, BWRT® can quickly and effectively change how you react to memories and feelings from past relationships, helping you heal from relationship trauma.

Certification

All practitioners have to adhere to a strict ethical code and have been personally trained or vetted by the originator of BWRT®, Terence Watts. BWRT® professionals will hold a Certified BWRT® practitioner seal.

Terence Watts says:

‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a modern model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It uses a totally logical, practical, and down-to-earth working method in which it’s not necessary for you to talk about anything you would rather not discuss – the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is unlike any other therapy you might have heard of or read about, using the latest discoveries in neuroscience coupled with your own unique brain processes to help you get better. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code.
